Visit the bustling Saturday market where you can shop the street vendors selling everything from locally caught shellfish and pickled vegetables to jewelry and clothes. Finish the day watching windsurfers at Marina Port, an activity Alaçati is known for.
02/ ANCIENT URLA
Spend the day visiting the tourist-free Urla, a town that dates back to around 3,000 BCE and have lunch at the local favorite, Begendik Abi. Wonderful wine and olive oil are produced in the region. Visit Olivurla for an olive oil tasting experience where oils are infused with herbs grown on-site resulting in award winning blends. Later try Ursa vineyard to taste a selection of wines focused on the revitalization and re-diversification of the local grapes.

Long meals and extended coffee breaks are standard in Turkish culture. Alaçati offers a great lineup of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from to indulge in this lovely protocol. With casual bohemian decor and friendly service, there is no reason why you shouldn't spend an entire afternoon lingering away. Begin at Kose Kahve in the morning for great coffee in a casual, comfortable setting. Head to Bumba Breakfast Club for a healthy take on the full traditional Turkish breakfast spread. End the day with a cocktail at Morah where you’ll enjoy live music in a lush garden setting.
